The Black Hills is home to many beneficial and interesting insect species, from fuzzy bumblebees to caddisflies – nature’s underwater architects. Join Forest staff for an autumn hike, exploring the commonly overlooked insects that call the Black Hills home. NOTE: This hike is taking place just over the border on the Hell Canyon Ranger District. https://www.fs.usda.gov/r02/blackhills/events/september-26-2026-moon-walk-meet-your-friendly-insect-neighbors
