Fall River Flight Fest

Join us in Hot Springs in the southern Black Hills for three days of fun at the Fall River Flight Fest (formerly the Fall River Hot Air Balloon Festival). Balloon launches are scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday, about 6 a.m., from the Hot Springs Municipal Airport. The festival kicks off at noon on Friday and there are activities in Centennial Park including a vendors market and live music. Saturday features a Fun Run, Chalk Art Contest, vendors market, farmers market, sidewalk sales, and special events at local businesses. Saturday evening, a “Light Up Downtown” night glow will be held at Centennial Park and the State Veterans Home from 7:30-9 p.m. Sunday features a Walk-In Balloon at The Mammoth Site and a Cemetery History Walk.
